.

The two planes have crashed in the early afternoon, one of the Asturias airport, and the other in a nearby mountainous area, according to a spokeswoman for the AENA Spanish airports manager.

Each aircraft had two occupants and all died. The cause of accident was not known Monday afternoon and it is not known whether the two planes collided.

"It was raining and it was foggy" in the accident, "but there is no evidence that the weather is the cause, because the airport was working normally, " said spokeswoman for AENA.

The plane crashed at the airport to depart from San Sebastian in the Basque Country (north) and head to the Vilar da Luz, in northern Portugal.

'Second perform probably the same route, "said spokeswoman AENA.

At least three of the occupants of these aircraft were Polish citizens.
