At least 13 dead in an attack committed in eastern Afghanistan. At least 13 people were killed and 20 injured after a vehicle bomb hit a police bus in the Afghan city of Jalalabad (east), according to authorities in Nangarhar province. "Thirteen people were killed and 20 injured in a suicide bombing, which targeted a police bus, " said a spokesman for the institution, Zia Abdul Ahmadzai.
It is not yet known how many victims are civilians and many are policemen.
The attack was immediately claimed Zabihullah Mujahid, a Taliban representative of the insurgents.
Nangarhar Province is situated on the border with Pakistan.
